You can also go to “Rancho del Cañón”, which is a protected reserves with 250 hectares. There you can watch many kinds of birds, including hummingbirds, which are the most common birds in Papallacta.
Maybe you would like something more extreme. Why not rafting? Quijos River is perfect for you, because it is classified as Class III/IV rapids, so you won’t need any previous experience but you will need to know how to swim: that’s important!
