The mill adobe walls keep the customs of the wheat Ranch “La Compañía de Jesús”, which was one of the large colonial estates of the religious congregation society of Jesus (Jesuits); Hence its name. The history of the hacienda “Company” goes back to the 16th century and is owned by Jarrin family and their descendants since 1864.
