Enchanted Ecuador

Day 1: Ecuador Land of Culture & Ancestral Knowledge (L-D) Pick you up 08:00 am from Quito to Misahualli Sacha Waysa is located to 3 km between Cotundo and Archidona near Misahualli River. Our amazing experience starts from Quito to Napo Province in land transportation by 2 hours and half. During the route you will look at variety of landscapes and feel the change in the weather. First stop in the route is the Kichwa Sacred Temple located inside of ancestral caves, in this place we will receive the introduction about the community, kichwa worldview, legends and information about natural medicine more used. After that, we continue our awesome trip to Sacha Waysa Community the community will be waiting with one welcome drink and traditional lunch. After that, we are going to visit the Maloca one big house that was built by the community amoung mamakunas (Mujeres) karis (hombres) accompanied all time for their churis (niños). In this ancestral house the community uses it for explications about their traditions, customs, clothings and we are going to learn to make the famous chicha and mean. They invite us to interact in middle of singings and dance. Dinner & Lodging in the Community

 

Day 2: Baños the Valley of waterfalls (B-L) Breakfast in the lodge and continue our route to Baños (3 horas aprox) and visit Pailon del Diablo or recognized like Río Verde, we are going to walk down 1 hour until find the most impressive waterfall in the region. The water of the waterfall is transparent and in the Pailón proper the water turns turquoise. The water temperature is approximately 23 ° C. To observe it more closely you must descend along a path that is perfectly signposted, through orchids, hydrangeas and semi-jungle vegetation, which reaches a hanging bridge and then you will find yourself on the very edge of the waterfall. Your name from the devil’s pailón born by the shape of the rocks that are under the waterfall and if you look closely you can see the shape of the devil’s face that is formed in the rocks, hence its name. Day 3: Hacienda and Horse Back Riding in Cotopaxi (B-L-D) Pick you up the hotel between 8:00am or 09:00 am Breakfast and we will continue our trip to Cotopaxi to enjoy in this amazing Volcano.

 

Day 4: Cotopaxi to Quito through the volcanoes road (B) Breakfast and panoramic driving along the impressive landscapes of Andean
moorland. Visit in the Historic Center of Quito el Panesillo & La Galería la Cuchara Free Caffe & Chocolate testing.
