Chocolate Tour

DAY 1:
Arrival at the sacred temple to have a meditation, healing and awareness about the importance of Cocoa to the Amazonian communities of Ecuador; followed by this we will arrive towards the community of Sacha Waysa, here we will have a broad explanation about the harvesting and preparation of the cocoa masorca for obtaining the chocolate organically, “Welcome Talk”, lunch, elaboration of the chocolate and hike to the Cacao Cocha Waterfall and Lagoon. We returned to the community for a night of legends about the ancestral knowledge of Cocoa in the Kichwas communities in the Amazon of Ecuador. Dinner camp; Accommodation Cabins Basic Level (Optional Huasquila Lodge).

 

DAY 2:
Very early in the morning we will make a trip to the Ancestral Cocoa Route where we travel through its plantations and territory in a respectful and sustainable way with the environment, we will have lunch and then return to our hotel to prepare for our Chocolate ceremony and cooking class focused on the concept of chocolate. Farewell Dinner.

 

DAY 3:
Return to Quito
